MPEG2 is sufficient for all the major TV standards, including NTSC, and even HDTV. Decompressing an MPEG-2 data stream requires only modest computing power, and encoding video in MPEG-2 format requires significantly more processing power, while converting another video format to MPEG2 may be not as hard as this, take AVI to MPEG 2 as an example, with AVI converter, you can accomplish the conversion from AVI to MPEG2 without too much high requirement.
Step 1: Add videos.
Click “Add Video” on the toolbar or under “File >Add Video Folder” import files.
Step 2: Choose output format
Choose the right video format you want in “Profile“. Meanwhile, you can simply set the video quality, audio quality, and the output file position in the same interface.
Step 3: Retouch the video
(1) Click “Trim”, set “Start Time” and “End Time“, you can change the video length you want.
(2) Click “Crop”, drag “Letter Box”, you can adjust the video size.
(3) Click “Effect“, you can adjust the “Brightness“, “Contrast” and “Saturation” for the output video effect.
(4) Click “Watermark“, you are allowed to add image or text watermark to the video.
Step 4: Start Conversion
The last step is to hit the “Convert” button to start converting.
